The Actor's Office allows you to store comments about each of the CDs and agents in the database, as well: which ones you've booked for, been called back by. You can then use the information in the database to tailor a specific cover letter or postcard message.
Karr gave an example of how she put the Actor's Office to work: "Recently I found out that my commercial agency was closing. So now I can go through my database, and I can tell from my history who I've met with before, who seemed interested, who will be completely new, so I can tailor the cover letter."
She also uses the Actor's Office's postcard template, which allows you to drop in information about the project, and it will automatically create hundreds of correctly addressed postcards. "Then if I want to send a postcard to only people I've auditioned for in the past," said Karr, "I can sort by that category and it will put out only those addresses.
